Rethymno, Crete Welcome to Vederi Estate

We stayed at Vederi for a 9 day long family vacation. From the initial planning of our trip tilll the departure, George was an excellent support and host at his estate. We immediately felt at home and experienced the unique hospitality of Greece and its people through him and the whole team at Vederi. In every aspect, George provided good input to our travel plans, recommended shops and restaurants and even helped us out on our arrival evening by calling the local Taverna to bring some (excellent!) food to the villa.

We are eighty years of age and we met our son who was staying at Vederi Estate for 6 weeks. We spent one week there with him. We felt like we were at home. George and Irene, Meni and Popi treated us like family. Probably better than family. We cannot stop thinking about our experience in Crete and cannot wait to return if able to. We found Vederi Estate whilst looking for a quiet, family location in Crete back in January and since then we have seen the many 'perfect' reviews for these amazing villas. It's hard to imagine that anywhere could be so beautiful with faultless accommodation and wonderful owners to match but believe me, it still surpassed all our expectations!
The villas are surrounded by breathtaking scenery with the scent of herbs and Jasmine all around you and figs grow nearby. You have everything you need for a relaxing holiday with a great pool, first day essentials in the fridge and the most delicious Moussaka awaiting your arrival.
